Julie Le is an associate at Nathan Sommers Gibson Dillon and practices in the Litigation group. Julie has worked on a variety of litigation matters, including breaches of contract, tax controversy, fraud, land use, unjust enrichment, Louisiana revendicatory actions, and negligence. A mock trial team member at the University of Houston Law Center since her first semester of law school, Julie is passionate about advocacy. During her time in law school, Julie competed in numerous advocacy competitions.

Prior to joining the firm, Julie worked as a mergers and acquisition tax attorney at an international professional company, where she facilitated many fast paced and complex commercial transactions. However, Julie ultimately decided to transition into litigation so that she could use her passion for advocacy to protect her clients’ business interests and obtain the best results for her clients. Julie joined Nathan Sommers Gibson Dillon because the firm’s vision and values matches her own: respect, reliability, and zealous, efficient advocacy.

Even though she does not render tax advice, Julie’s tax and accounting background allows her to provide clients with a unique and advantageous perspective on complex business and commercial litigation matters. Julie’s background has also trained her to be meticulous in recognizing important small details, as well as the big picture, which is needed to succeed in litigation.

Julie was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient, and a Dean’s List Award recipient at the University of Houston Law Center, where she earned a joint J.D and LL.M. in Taxation. Julie also earned the second highest score on the March 2021 Texas Bar Exam and was personally recognized by Justice Brett Busby of the Texas Supreme Court.
